COUNCILLORS will visit a farm in Weir before deciding if stables which have been built without permission should remain.
A retrospective application has been made to construct stables and a paddock area at The Old Clough Stables, off Burnley Road.
The building is single storey measuring 17.5m by 4.5m and 3.5m high and two letters of objection have been received from local residents.
Councillors are being recommended to refuse the application because it contravenes several local policies.
