BERNICE Greenhalgh, of Chorley Harriers, has won the five race Wood End 4M Night Race Series.
Greenhalgh clinched the ladies title last Wednesday, finishing third in the final race behind Lisa Heyes, of Salford, and Clayton's veteran Vanessa Peacock, pictured.
Neil Tattersall ran the third best time in the history of the race, 19:51, to finish two minutes clear of the field.
Darwen Dashers, Gary Taylor and Eric Wilson, finished fourth and fifth, with Wilson the first veteran home. Second success for Tattersall NEIL Tattersall won his second race in four days on Saturday at the Kirkham 10K.
The Hyndburn ace gained revenge over Wesham's Alex Rowe, who beat him for the Lancashire title a fortnight ago.
Rowe could only manage fifth as Tattersall also defeated Lancashire bronze medallist Steve Littler and last year's County Champion Paul Muller.
Clayton Harrier Ted Orrell was first M60, while Accrington Road Runner Leigh Hargreaves was third lady. Medals bagged PARK High School AC won a silver and four gold medals in a medal meeting at the Costello Stadium in Hull.
Coach Mike Hindle travels extensively with his athletes so that they can meet new competition, but at Humberside there was nobody capable of beating Louise Dickinson in the under-15s 100m and 200m.
Jennifer Tunstill was similarly untroubled in the senior 800m, which she won by 100m, but she had to work for victory in the 400m.
In gale force conditions, under-15 Charlotte Bickerstaffe completed the medal haul with silver in the 1500m.
