A RECRUITMENT drive to encourage more people to become involved in childcare was launched in Bury on Saturday (Sept 1) when the Early Years Roadshow drove in to town.
There was fun for the kids who were entertained by a magician, while adults were given information on the opportunities available in childcare.
The roadshow was organised by Bury's Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership as part of a new Government Initiative to raise the profile of childcare.
Karen Fitton, the children's information service officer assistant, said: "The roadshow went really well. We are still waiting for feedback, but a lot of people turned up for information.
"Everyone had a lot of fun with the entertainment which also included a Sambura band and face painting."
