PUPILS and staff at a primary school in Colne celebrated the school's 100th anniversary yesterday.
Everyone at Lord Street Primary School got involved in the celebrations yesterday by dressing in Victorian costumes.
Past pupils and ex members of staff also visited the school to mark the anniversary, which was in August but due to the summer holidays the celebrations were organised for the last week before the September holidays. The youngsters also saw classes from years ago in old photographs of the school displayed around the corridors.
A collection of oil paintings depicting the school throughout the 100 years have also been created for the anniversary.
