BURNLEY'S Ian Moore has been banned from talking to his dad, Ronnie who is the boss of the Claret's weekend opponents Rotherham United, .
The 25-year-old comes up against his father Ronnie Moore who brings his Rotherham United side to Turf Moor tomorrow and Moore junior has been sworn to secrecy by Clarets manager Stan Ternent.
"My Dad has been on the phone trying to find out what system we'll be playing and who is injured or not ," revealed Moore.
"But I have been sworn to secrecy my our manager, in fact I haven't been allowed to speak to my Dad on the phone for the last couple of days," he added with a huge grin.
It will be the first time that the Moore's have faced one another competitively but while the menfolk of the family will treat it as business as usual for Ian's mum Viv it is proving a little harder.
"My Mum has just been quiet about it all and I don't think she knows which side of the fence she should be on," said the Clarets front-runner.
"I think if I score and we win she will be made up for me and if Rotherham win she'll be happy for Dad.
"But it is going to be a good day for the family, they will all be there and I'll probably be a bit nervy tomorrow morning.
"But once we get out on the field then I'll be treating it as though it is just a normal game."
And Moore junior is expecting table-topping Bunrley to be given a stern test by the Millers.
"Dad's had back-to-back promotions, and he took them into the play-offs the season before that, so he has done well," said Ian.
"He has been a great influence on me, he has always been there to pick me up when things have gone badly and I am really pleased that he has done well and earned himself a reputation as being a good coach."
