ROTHERHAM United manager Ronnie Moore and his son, the scorer of Burnley's opening goal, Ian clashed for the first time and this is how they felt afterwards.
Ronnie on Ian: "It was frustrating for me because obviously I was hoping he wouldn't score.
"But it was one of those situations. I have my son playing against me and he scores the goal that sends them on the way to victory.
"Basically you could write the script, there was always going to be something like that happen. Unfortunately for us it did happen.
"And to be honest I thought that we had kept him really quiet during the first half, but the goal he scored should have been impossible from our point of view.
"But he got away and scored a brilliant goal and he is a quality striker - I wish he was playing for me!"
Ian on Ronnie: "It is part of my job to score goals for Burnley and produce the goods, but it was still a shame that it was against my Dad.
"I thought that 3-0 flattered us just a little bit, but we will happily take the three points.
"My Dad said to me before the game that it was the one time he did not want me to score, but obviously I am delighted with the goal.
"Glen Little played me in and I saw the keeper going down and I just managed to get the shot away and squeeze it under him."
Ronnie Moore also spared a thought for Millers striker Alan Lee, the ex-Claret who failed to impress on his return to Turf Moor.
"I thought he was just awful in the first half and I told him so at half-time.
"The lad is a good player and he is going to be a very good player one day.
"It was a big day for him coming back to his old club and to be honest I think because of that he was guilty of trying too hard."
