BLACKBURN with Darwen Volunteer Bureau is looking for volunteers to help with a range of projects.
Volunteers are required to assist with school swimming lessons. Training to ASA Assistant Teacher level will be provided to ensure volunteers are competent and safe.
Conservation volunteers are required for a variety of projects, including dry stone walling, creating ponds, footpaths or fences, tree planting, woodland management and hedge laying.
The St John Ambulance is anxious to recruit new volunteers and Arthritis Care is looking for people who can spare up to eight hours a month.
The RSPCA in Accrington and Only Foals and Horses in Oswaldtwistle have now reopened and are looking for volunteers and the WRVS needs tea bar workers for Blackburn Magistrates Court, Blackburn Infirmary and Queens Park Hospital.
