THE £1.5million move of striker Nathan Blake from Blackburn Rovers to first division Wolves was set to be sealed tonight.
Welsh international Blake travelled to Molineux this morning and he was called in for a medical this afternoon.
Wolves boss Dave Jones said: "He is having his medical and we hope that the deal will be completed today.
"The clubs have agreed terms and if the medical is okay the deal should be completed."
Rovers chief executive John Williams confirmed: "We have accepted an offer of £1.5million from Wolves and they are speaking to him.
"As thetransfer fee has been determined, and it is now up to the player."
The 29-year-old joined Rovers from neighbouring Bolton Wanderers in October 1998 for a £4million plus fee.
He missed much of last season with an Achilles injury but did make 12 appearances, scoring six goals.
