SIX hundred and fifty dancers from all over the North West will take part in the Burnley Festival over the weekend from September 21-23.
There will be three days of non-stop music, colour and spectacle when the stage dance classes take place at Burnley Mechanics.
The competitors will be taking part in ballet, national dance, tap, song and dance and other classes.
This year the festival has been chosen to host a heat of the Miss Dance contest, the winner of which will take part in national finals in Sheffield next summer with a £1,000 first prize at stake.
Daily admission charge for spectators at the Mechanics is £3.
All three sections of Burnley festival, speech, drama, music and dance, will be represented at a fundraising concert at St Peter's Church, Burnley, on November 10.
