MORE Traffic marshals are needed to ensure the safety of the expected 35,000 visitors who will pack Rawtenstall town centre for Rossendale Valley Motorbike Show.
The show needs 130 volunteers and although many have come forward organisers still need more.
The show, on September 23, will involve the closure of many of streets in Rawtenstall.
Traffic marshals must be aged over 16 and are required to ensure the safety of all transport and bikes into and out of the town centre.
Deputy chief marshal Wayne Greenhalgh said: "They can come either morning or afternoon and the early start is at 6am and the lunchtime start at noon.
"They get a free T-shirt and if they are from a charity then that good cause will get added to the list of beneficiaries which receive money in March or April next year.
"Marshals will not be working all day and they will get to see the show and they can get free entry into the attractions around Rawtenstall.
"The more people we have the easier it will be on everyone."
To volunteer, contact the show office on 01706 227560 or charities co-ordinator Sue Troughton on 01706 215356.
