A DECISION to transform part of a town centre supermarket into a bingo hall has been put on hold.
Last Thursday's (Sept 6) planning control sub-committee deferred its judgement on the application which would relaunch the number-crunching game in Bury.
Supermarket giant Kwik Save wants to scale down its trading at the Rochdale Road Neighbourhood Centre and make room for the proposed bingo hall, or to create an extension to the store.
But the committee called for a site visit after hearing concerns about traffic access.
