POLICED as punch!
That's the enterprising teenagers who are certainly model citizens in more ways than one.
Each has received a framed certificate to mark the fact they were nominated for Greater Manchester Police's Young Citizen of the Year 2001.
At the presentation with Bury police divisional commander Chief Superintendent Phil Hollowood were: Richard Chernick (16), Jennifer Hodbod (15), and Frances McIntosh (16).
The teenagers, who all live in Bury, were involved in their local divisional section of the awards.
Judges have selected Cheree Bracken (13), of Parsonage Street, Bury, to fly the flag for the borough in the Young Citizen finals, to be held in November.
There were half-a-dozen entries from Bury youngsters for the popular, annual competition.
