A NORTHERN Soul all-day music event will be held in Earby at the end of this month to raise money for people with Alzheimer's Disease.
The event, organised by Roman and Wendy Korol, will take place between 12.30pm and midnight on Sunday, September 30, at the Albion Hall Conservative Club. A donation from the proceeds will also be given to The Active Club, in Burnley, which helps people who suffer from strokes, head injuries or Multiple Sclerosis.
DJ's, including Ginger Taylor, Terry Davies, Tim Brown, Roman, Neil Jones, Big Mick, Kev Murphy, Pete Coulson, Mike Kemp, Eddie, Dave Barrett, Ian Kidmond and Mark Grice, will be providing the music for free.
There will be a barbecue and the more energetic visitors will take part in a sponsored run for charity from Skipton to Earby.
Prizes donated for the raffle include a CD player, wine, CDs, a mini hi-fi systm, cuddly toys, free posters from your choice of photograph and a hamper of Roc beauty products.
The event is being sponsored by the Outline Print Service, in Colne, Anglo American, in Todmorden, and the Conservative Club, in Earby.
