A RIBBLE Valley girl is set to send temperatures soaring on Sky One's new British version of the 'real life' series 'Temptation Island'.
Carlie James, 24, of Waddow View, Waddington, is one of 26 single men and women -- 13 of each -- who will try and put the relationships of four devoted young couples to the test on the exotic Caribbean island of Roatan.
The idea of the show, which starts on September 23, is to send the male partners to one end of the island with the beautiful, bikini-clad girls, while the women spend the 12-day period with 13 gorgeous, square-jawed men, to see if they can remain faithful to their partners.
Each couple has been hand-picked to test their fidelity to the absolute limit. The US version of the show has recently gone down a storm with viewers.
At 5ft 11in, Carlie, a part-time model and former court clerk, said: "They're all great guys and all of them are attractive in their own way." And she didn't rule out the possibility of embarking on an intimate relationshipwhile on the island.
"Normally I stay away from other people's boyfriends," she said.
"But in this case, these couples have come on to Temptation Island to put their relationship to the test and I wouldn't be doing the best for them or the programme if I held back."
She added: "I'm here to have a good time and I intend to push it to the limit. Sex is definitely a possibility."
As well as being an ever-tempting presence on the island, Carlie will also have to go on romantic dates with the male contestants, with their other halves given the opportunity to watch unedited footage of the 'dates' and their general behaviour.
Before the couples are separated, they will be introduced to their potential love rivals in a poolside parade, with each allowed to block one of the single men or women from dating their partner.
