A FORMER Bury man will be returning to his roots next week to stage a special open evening at the new Village Hotel.
Mr Bob Gaskell is putting on the event on behalf of thriving telecommunications company Telco to recruit a local network of agents, representatives and team leaders.
Telco Global Communications Ltd is one of the UK's premier providers of high quality domestic and long distance telecommunications services, specialising in international and national calls.
Mr Gaskell has been involved with the company for four years.
"In that time, I have seen my business grow to a successful agency with more than 28,000 people taking advantage of the Telco services."
Mr Gaskell, who lived in Bury while working in local government, is senior marketing director within the agent framework and is attached to Aquila Direct, based at Lytham St Annes.
The open evening, to be held at the Village Hotel, Heap Bridge, next Monday (Sept 17). beginning at 8pm, is aimed at attracting independent agents for Telco.
The package includes full training and support, monthly commission and bonus, flexible hours, car plan, pension scheme and private health plan.
Mr Gaskell added: "One of my main reasons for bringing Telco into this area is that having spent most of my youth here, and being supported and nurtured by the community, I am now in a position to put something back."
Guest speaker will be noted author and recognised expert in personal development and training, Mr Derek Ross.
Further information on Telco can be found at the local job centre or by calling 01253 407567.
