IT'S Grandparents' Day this Saturday.
Just thought I'd mention it so the golden oldies have time to remind their offsprings how nice it might be to be appreciated.
Unlike other commercial events such as Mothers' and Fathers' Days this is wholly owned by Age Concern and is a unique celebration of the valued role that older people play in family life and society.
Don't forget to say it with flowers.
