AN exhibition of porcelain dolls is on display to the general public at Colne library until the end of the month.
The dolls are the work of ex-Earby teacher Hazel James of Knightsbride Avenue, Colne, who took up doll-making about four years ago,
She attended classes with a master doll-maker in Cliviger and has so far created a number of beautiful dolls ranging from between 36ins high to miniatures.
Hazel said: "It is just a hobby to me.
"I have done several things at night school and when someone suggested doll-making I was immediately interested"
Exhibits included Victorian and Edwardian dolls, a Japanese emperor, a Japanese businessman and his lady, and more than a dozen others.
Hazel is married with a son and granddaughter Jessica, two -- although she cannot play with the dolls. They are too fragile!
