AN 11-year-old boy was rescued from the roof of a house in Branch Road, Burnley, after an argument with his family.
Firefighters were called at 10pm yesterday and found the shoeless boy sitting on the chimney stack.
Station Officer Duncan Emmett said: "He had somehow got on to the roof of a mid terrace house after some kind of argument with his family and climbed up on to the ridge."
Firefighters used ladders ladder to get to the ridge.
Mr Emmett said: "The boy had no shoes on and we had to be very careful but I am pleased to say he came down of his own accord."
