STAND surged to the top of the NWCL Division Two table with a four-goal victory.
They opened the scoring after just five minutes, Steve Davis heading home Mark Denham's corner.
Ashton skipper Les Bailey hit the Stand bar but then hit the back of his own net on 40 minuts when he deflected Alan Dixon's low free kick past his despairing keeper.
Full black Lee Anderson was one the scoresheet next after a neat one-two with Stuart Telfer allowed him to break into the box and although Flatery saved his initial shot, he was alert to convert the rebound.
Steve Carroll completed the scoring curling a free kick into the top corner of the net.
RESULT: ASHTON...0 STAND...4
Stand make the trip to Chadderton tomorrow night.
