FOLLOWING the terror in America, isn't it time for security on board an airliner?
The door to the pilot's cabin should be electronically locked and only aircrew allowed entry.
Also a security man armed with a stungun and gas spray canister should be on board so that hijackers can be immobilised swiftly.
There was a recent incident when a man attempted to take over an airliner's controls, causing the plane to nosedive for several thousand feet and, but for others rushing to the pilot's aid, a catastrophe could have occurred.
As there seems to be little security in American airports, something needs to be done.
Here in England, thankfully, we have the best security system in the world at airports, so let's step up security on board also, as we often have problems with drunks and rowdiness.
