POLICE were called to a Whitefield pub after a glass was thrown at the bar, a court heard.
Bury magistrates were told that police were called to the New Grove Inn after Elizabeth Finneran, aged 28, had thrown a glass, hitting the landlord but not causing serious injury.
The publican did not want to press charges, but police decided to speak to her at her home in Dudley Avenue, Whitefield. She was agitated, and after she threatened a woman walking down the road police arrested her. Finneran admitted a breach of the peace and was bound over for a year.
