I AM from what might be called an ethnic minority currently trading full time during market opening at Morecambe Festival Market.
I trade next to the stall facing the shoe man referred to in last week's paper.
I've known this trader for over two years and during this time I have had never witnessed anything malicious from him or anything which would indicate that he is racist in any way.
In fact I have noticed that he is very kind and considerate towards ethnic minorities and the public in general. I've found that he has a very good sense of humour and I'm sure he didn't mean to offend anybody.
I beg of you to reconsider and reinstate the shoe man at the market.
Mrs E Shaw Stall 54 Festival Market
