LANCASHIRE Police this week held a special conference to discuss violent crime.
The conference, which took place on Tuesday, was attended by 180 invited guests and discussed a range of issues, such as dealing with victims of crime, alcohol related violence and domestic violence.
Conference chair superintendent Mike Cunningham said: "This conference is very important for policing across the county.
"The purpose of this conference is to draw together people with different backgrounds and experiences from across the country so they can share ideas and solutions to problems that we all face."
