A BOUNCER at a former Burnley nightclub has been cleared of attacking a customer out on the town with his friends.
Victor Docherty, 30, was found not guilty of inflicting grievous bodily harm after a three day trial at Burnley Crown Court.
Docherty, of Burnley Road East, Lumb, who had denied the charge, was discharged from the dock by Recorder Terence Rigby.
The court had heard how complainant Mark Hoodless needed 40 stitches after he was assaulted at the former Genesis nightclub on Hammerton Street, last May.
