COLNE missed out on at least a share of the spoils at Holt House last night after gifting the visitors a couple of goals in the NWCL Division Two.
The hosts were in control for much of the game but fell victim to a sucker punch as Leek took the lead in the 30th minute.
Lee Fowler broke down the right hand side to cross for Oliver Leaver, who had shaken off his marker, and Leaver finished well.
Colne hit back when Ben Cowan was pulled back in the area and he picked himself up to score from the penalty spot.
But before the interval Leek were back in front when Colne's keeper Ross Baxter allowed a Paul Bowyer shot to squirm under his body.
Just after half time the visitors increased their lead through Mark Hubbard.
Colne were given a glimmer of hope when Paul Files, recently re-signed from Padiham, scored his first goal in two games midway through the half.
But though Colne forced the pace they couldn't find an equaliser.
RESULT: COLNE...2 LEEK...3
