NORTH End is set to be the temporary home for a second ex-Blackburn Rovers player - Billy McKinley.
McKinlay is the first new face to appear at Deepdale in the week after manager David Moyes announced he was going to strengthen his squad.
Just one win at the start of the season and a string of disappointing performances have pushed Moyes to the point where sticking with the same small squad is not an option.
McKinlay, whose dyed blond hair and forceful midfield play made him a hero at Blackburn, appeared in Wednesday's reserve game against Wolves at the Giant Axe.
The 32-year-old was released by Bradford in the summer and has yet to find a new club.
He would be an ideal addition to David Moyes' squad if Tuesday night's match at The Hawthorns is anything to go by.
While the defence held reasonably well - although two rash mistakes and conceding a penalty shows there is still plenty of room for improvement - the midfield, in the eyes of many fans, was virtually non-existent.
Skipper Sean Gregan has admitted that the team can do much better and the presence of McKinlay in midfield would certainly make the middle line of players a more formidable one.
If he does stay, he will be in a team which also boast Kevin Gallacher, another Rovers star who has taken to life at Deepdale.
