A CONFERENCE highlighting the problems of domestic violence in Asian communities will be held in Blackburn next week.
Organised by the county-wide Network for Minority Ethnic Women, it will examine the religious and cultural sensitivities of domestic violence.
The event, at Jan's Conference Centre on Wednesday, follows a Lancashire Domestic Violence seminar earlier this year.
It will be chaired by Kath Reade, chairman of East Lancashire Health Authority, and attended by representatives from the police, Lancashire Partnership Against Crime, county council and health authorities.
