FORMER pupils at Bury CE High School are inviting classmates to come together for a bumper 40th birthday bash.
The party, to be held at The Met in Bury next April will be for school leavers from 1978, who last met for a reunion more than three years ago. They will all be turning 40 in the next twelve months, and organisers are hoping for a landmark celebration.
Also welcome are those who left the school either the year before or after.
Organiser Hazel Walsh (nee Chattwood) said: "It's a chance for us all to get together, life begins at 40 and we hope to show that on the night.
"When you do these things you don't know how many people are going to turn up, but the last time we had a reunion it was a great success, 78 people turned up. This time we're hoping for more."
Tickets for the event, on April 12, are already available from The Met box office on 761 2216.
