RADCLIFFE BOROUGH go to Leek Town tonight (Friday Sep 21) aiming to put the pressure on league leaders Rossendale United.
The UniBond new boys have shot straight to the top of Division One and have opened up a four-point gap over second-placed Boro.
But Kevin Glendon's men are on a high themselves after the 6-1 thrashing of Trafford and have the chance to cut the gap to one point on Friday night if they can get the right result at Harrison Park.
Glendon reports no injury problems for the Leek trip and there's the double bonus of Simon Kelly getting his first run out as a substitute last Tuesday night -- and scoring -- and skipper -- Mark Dempsey starting his first game of the season after missing the start of the campaign through suspension and injury.
"I thought it might be time to put people back into the positions they were used to and Saturday's result made that decision for us.
"Demps had been getting 20 minutes here and there, so it was only right he should get a game."
Rossendale play Harrogate at home on Saturday and Glendon will take the opportunity to give the newcomers the once over.
