IT might have been a hassle setting the video for Eastenders and dragging yourself away from the fire to come to Gigg on Tuesday for the match that never was.
But no matter how frustrated you were when the game was cancelled, it couldn't match the feelings of Anders Sommer and Thomas Jorgensen.
The two pals had travelled from Denmark to watch the Shakers play and could barely believe it when the game was cancelled because of floodlight failure.
Why they support the Shakers is a good question and the answer is somewhat strange.
They chose Bury as a team to manage in the computer game Championship Manager. For one reason or another their love affair with the club became more serious and the pals, along with five others in the town of Hillerod (about 45 minutes drive from Copenhagen), set up a Danish Shakers fan club.
They saw their first match two seasons ago when they watched Bury lose to Wrexham.
And after Tuesday night they are still waiting to see a win. However, the story isn't all bad. The lads don't go back until Monday so at least they have chance to watch Andy Preece's team take on Stoke tomorrow.
Try and win lads, Anders and Thomas need cheering up!
