POLICE called to a house in the early hours found two injured man and blood on the sofa and carpet.
Burnley magistrates heard how one man was sitting on the couch bleeding and another came from the bathroom holding the top of his head and was bloody and bruised. A third man claimed he had been set about with a wooden instrument.
Mohammed Khan, 22, and Zee Shan Zia, 27, both of Cherry Tree Way, Helmshore, and Zubair Yousaf, 27, of Whiteacre Road, Ashton-under-Lyne, were all bound over in the sum of £100 for 12 months, after admitting breaching the peace.
They were told by the bench they should think themselves very fortunate that the only action being taken was for breach of the peace.
David Macro, prosecuting, said the defendants were all arrested on suspicion of assault. Khan struggled violently, kicked out, struck an officer on the shin and was shouting and swearing. His mother was also shouting and swearing on the street as her son was arrested.
Nadeem Rashid, defending, said there had been a long-standing family dispute because one of the daughters was having a relationship with an older man.
That man and his friends had arrived at the family home, words were exchanged but no complaint of assault had been made.
