A VERY mixed reception for Jon Macken last Saturday at Deepdale with some fans singing his name and others booing loudly.
Surely this kind of situation is no good for anyone, something has got to be sorted out, one way or the other as soon as possible.
At least the result went the right way, an Iain Anderson diving header giving us our first league win.
But on Tuesday night at the Hawthorns we were were back to square one.
Our mistake riddled defence setting up West Brom with two goals to secure the points.
The players seem to be spending half of every game arguing amongst themselves. The team spirit that carried us through last season looks to have disappeared completely.
What's gone wrong? Perhaps we all need a boost. The boost that a few new faces might create. After all we do have one of the smallest squads in this division.
Having said that Burnley have one player less than us and they're top!
Lets take nothing away from the achievements of the team last season -- they did remarkably well. But could it be that that is as far as some of them can take us?
Is now time for a change?
