LEIGH Centurions' Academy team will not know until this weekend who their Grand Final opponents will be.
The Hilton Park youngsters qualified for their second successive Grand Final with a rousing 28-14 win over Featherstone last Sunday. They will meet either Featherstone or Barrow in the final at Hilton Park on September 30, kick off 3pm.
Meanwhile Leigh's Youth Director, Steve Grainey, has been appointed manager of Lancashire Academy.
"I was offered the job by Great Britain manager David Waite. I'm thrilled to be involved," he says.
"We have a game with a touring Penrith Panthers and we are hopeful that the Australian schoolboys will also come over. My first job as manager and one of the selection committee is to select a squad."
Leigh trio Peter Clark, Pete Fairhurst and Sean Prescott have already been named in the Lancashire squad.
