LANCASHIRE Council for Voluntary Youth Service, who support the main youth organisations in East Lancashire, are looking for six young people.
They will take part in a major government initiative designed to help young people aged 13 to19.
Connexions Lancashire is due to go live on April 1 2002 and six young people are being sought to represent the voluntary sector.
This provides an excellent opportunity for the voice of young people to be heard in a major development.
Those taking part will represent young people in East Lancs and take part in a two-day residential course at Garstang, where they will work alongside other young people to develop a Youth Charter and a web site.
Any youth organisation in East Lancs wanting more details should contact Pete Sturgess at LCVYS 01772 788337.
