YOUNG Rovers striker Ben Burgess has again been named in the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad.
The youngster is currently getting rave reviews while playing for second division Brentford having moved to London on loan at the start of the season.
He has played for the Republic before and is hoping to have another chance to show that he might still have a footballing future at Ewood.
And 22-year-old James Thomas is in the Wales Under-21 squad to face Belarus next week. Thomas has been a regular in the side for the past couple of seasons.
The youngster has reportedly been attracting interest from Bristol City boss Danny Wilson.
He has still only played four league games for Rovers although he has had loan spells at West Brom, Blackpool and Sheffield United.
