FOUR happy pets found that a dog's life was not too bad -- when they were pampered by residents at a residential and nursing home in Burnley.
Four members of staff took their dogs with them to BUPA's Dove Court, as part of the national Take Your Dogs To Work Day.
Tails were wagging as Toby, a black Labrador, Billy, a Yorkshire Terrier, Boodie, a Weimaraner and Paddy, another Labrador, made friends with the residents.
Home manager Kath Bebbington, commented: "I always wanted to take part in this event because it is a great opportunity to highlight the benefits that pets have on the elderly.
"The dogs have visited in the past and are always spoilt rotten with affection."
