A POLICE officer who launched a sexual harassment claim against Lancashire Police, even though the man she accused was dead, has resigned.
PC Reehaina Saddique, of Baxenden, dropped harassment claims against colleague, PC Paul Wilkinson, 37, last month.
She had been on long-term sick leave since making the allegations, but has now left the force as part of a 'compromise agreement'.
PC Saddique had alleged that PC Wilkinson, who committed suicide last year, stroked her head, gave her a saucer of milk and called her the 'office cat' -- police slang for officers who rarely leave the station.
He was cleared of the allegation in an internal disciplinary investigation but committed suicide while stationed in Leyland last year.
