YOUNGSTERS from St Joseph's School in Darwen enjoyed learning how to look after their bodies with the help of a visit from a 'life caravan' run by the charity Life Education Centres for Lancashire.
It was the turn of the reception class to learn about health issues yesterday and Educator Karen Fielding from the charity was on hand to teach children about general health matters.
Head of the school Tony Pearson said all classes in the school had taken part in the project and issues such as healthy eating and why pupils should not experiment with drugs were among the items discussed.
Karen said: "It's all about teaching children how to make informed choices. This is the fifth year we've been to the school and the children absolutely love visiting the caravan."
