A sponsored toddle waddle by toddlers at Scallywags pre-school in Edgworth at Edgworth cricket ground on Sunday has so far raised £200 for the Meningitis Trust.
The event, which is taking place nationwide all this week, involved toddlers under five waddling, hopping, skipping or jumping their way around the cricket pitch.
Committee member Janet Holden said aabout 30 children took part in the event.
There was also face painting, raffle and games. Refreshments were available in the Barlow Institute.
Mrs Holden said: "It was an enjoyable event and the weather was good. It was a worthwhile cause for us to raise money for and we would maybe do it again next year."
Sponsorship money from the event is still being collected by the nursery.
