A FUNERAL director who buried one of the legendary Kray twins had her own horse-drawn funeral.
Patricia Gibson, a well-known figure in the horse world and who ran Gibson's Funeral Services established in Blackburn 10 years ago, was held at St Peter's Church, Mill Hill, yesterday.
Patricia, 48, who died of breast cancer, was one of seven children, born and brought up in Blackburn and among the funerals she carried out was the horse-drawn courtege for Reggie Kray in London, in October last year.
Horses were also her hobby and she took her horse to Wembley last year to show in the Mountain and Moorland section.
Present at the funeral was former Blackburn Rovers player Colin Hendry.
Patricia also used to drive Ascot carriages for the Royal Family.
Jim, her partner, is continuing on with the business.
