JAN Playfer (Letters, August 31) need have no fear of asylum seekers being stigmatised by having to use food vouchers.
At a local supermarket, I witnessed two such people using food vouchers to obtain mobile phone cards.
As a tax-paying, served-my-country Englishman, I feel stigmatised because I can't affo rd a mobile phone, let alone cards.
