POLICE are studying CCTV footage after an elderly lady was robbed after collecting her pension on Monday at 9.15pm.
The pensioner had gone into the toilets at Mitre House car park when water was thrown over the cubicle door.
When she came out a man and a woman demanded she give them money and they snatched the carrier bag she was carrying. They rifled through it while at the scene, took cash and then threw the bag away. They then ran off in the direction of St George's Quay.
The male is described as as a white male, 30 years old, 5ft 6in with scruffy brown hair wearing a leather jacket.
The female had curly ginger hair and was wearing a black jumper and jeans.
