STAND manager Nick Davies is taking nothing for granted as his side prepare to meet bottom-of-the-table Castleton Gabriels in NWCL Division Two.
"I don't comment on teams we haven't played," said the 32-year-old. "I did that last season, saying we were going to hammer someone and we got beat 6-1!"
The Division Two newcomers have taken the league by storm this season but his side's form hasn't been conducive to good relations with other managers.
"I knew all the managers in the Manchester League but I don't know anyone in this league.
"The managers have mostly kept themselves to themselves but it's no surprise as we have beaten most of them!"
