EVERY credit to PNE for a battling display at Birmingham last Sunday.
This was undoubtetly the best performance or the season so far and a big improvement on the previous game.
Maybe we can start climbing up the league table now and go from strength to strength.
Lets hope that by the time you read this we've beaten Norwich on Wednesday night and are now looking forward to a hat-trick of victories at Vicarage Road, Watford, this coming Sunday.
Poor old Trevor Francis was at it again after the game on Sunday, moaning that Preston did not deserve to win.
He's a bad loser is Trevor, and worried over his job, shame!
We particularly liked the flag at the back of the away end at St. Andrews that stated in bold letters PRESTON TAKE PENALTIES FROM ANYWHERE. Well done whoever took that one.
PNE fans in Lancaster are having a meeting next Tuesday (October 2) at the Dolly Blues Club.
Representatives from PNE including the manager and chief executive will be there and anyone wishing to attend should make their way to the club by 7pm.
The Lancaster fans are striving hard to get some sort of fan club going up there and this meeting is well worth supporting.
See you there!
