I VERY much agree with "Ex-council Gardener" (Your Letters, August 31) regarding the state of the gardens on The Rock in Bury. The two beds which originally contained pansies, now boast a rockery and weary-looking heathers.
But what about the "gardens" on the top of Hornby Buildings? Who planted those? I know, it must have been God!
