A WHITE wedding challenge has been made to Pendle couples intending to marry this winter.
A wedding photography package is the prize to couple gambling on a idyllic winter wedding.
The only stipulation is that the winning partners must have a literal white wedding with a snowfall while they are in church taking their vows.
The prize is the idea of Pendle based Hayley Louise McMahon who said: "We are finding that against the usual tide of popularity many more people are now beginning to think about getting married in the winter months as it allows them to take advantage of great honeymoon holiday deals."
The white wedding challenge will be launched on December 1.
Hayley explained: "For the prize to be awarded there must be a covering of snow outside the marriage venue and it must still be falling on the bride and groom as they join their guests outside after walking down the aisle."
