A 30-YEAR-OLD man has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with stabbing Mark Winstanley outside his Darwen home.
Gary Turner, of Snape Street, Darwen, was sent in custody for trial at Preston Crown Court charged with wounding Mr Winstanley, 28 of Gillibrand Street, with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Mr Winstanley suffered puncture wounds to his body and a deep slash to his left arm in an incident outside his front door in the early hours of last Saturday.
