A FITNESS studio in Rossendale is the first in the North West to offer the latest work-out craze: K O BO.
Instructor Chantelle Ashworth has just completed a two-and-a-half year course and held her first class last night at the Pioneer Health Studio, Alma Street, Bacup.
She explained: "K O BO is the leading, non-contact aerobic martial art concept.
"It incorporates the dynamic punching and kicking of Eastern disciplines and Western boxing, combined with the breathing and relaxation techniques of yoga."
The new workout is said to improve cardio fitness and flexibility and help to fight flab, gain muscle tone and combat stress.
Classes are every Friday from 6pm to 7pm and up to 25 people can attend.
