PLANS showing how Blackburn's Queen's Park Hospital will look once it has been through an £80 million revamp are due to be unveiled next month.
The plans will include services from Blackburn Royal Infirmary, which is due to close and merge with Queen's Park.
Management at the Blackburn, Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Health Care Trust have prepared an £80 million privately financed scheme for the merger, but are keeping the details firmly under wraps.
They are due to decide which firm has won the contract to build the new hospital in the next two weeks, after narrowing it down to two bidders.
It is expected that building work should begin early next year.
