MY deepest sympathies lie with the families who lost their loved ones in the American terrorist attacks.
I am a Muslim and my religion condemns terrorism and the killing of innocent lives. Therefore, I hate it when the media gives a negative image of Muslims.
If the people who carried out these attacks were Muslims, they don't represent the whole of the Islamic community and, as Mr R Cutting (Letters, September 21) said, the majority of us are peace-loving.
I also think that America should have sound evidence against Afghanistan before it takes any retaliatory action. They blamed Muslims for the Oklahoma bombing and that was carried out by an American. The loss of more innocent lives won't solve anything.
